Sunday morning I went on a little hiking adventure, and I managed to snap some really pretty photos.

Sunday is very quickly becoming my favorite day of the week, because it is now designated as my "me-day." I've been spending all my Sundays by myself, doing whatever I feel like doing, and that usually starts with getting up "early" and going on walks on the trails around Cedar Rapids (don't worry, I'm very safe about it). We actually have some really nice trails in the area, but I feel like I've exhausted them all already. So this weekend I decided to do something a little different and visit a place I haven't been in over a year: Palisades-Kepler State Park. It's over in Mount Vernon, which is not too far of a drive, so I hopped in my car and went over there to do a little hiking. There were very few people out on the trails at 8 a.m., so it was super peaceful, and the leaves have started to change, so things were extra pretty. Here are some of the pictures I snapped while I was out:

I'm looking for some more good places to hike in the local area, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to leave them for me!
