Counseling Corner 1/16

Dear Brain and Steele,

My name is Macie and my husband Max and I got married last month.  250 people attended our wedding - and one of those was my ex-boyfriend of 4 years.  He and I had a great relationship throughout our 20s.  The breakup was even good.  It was mutual - I wanted to get married and start a family - he did not.  We remained friends and even though he moved across the country - we invited him and both Max and I thought it was great to see him.

The next morning, as Max and I were sitting down to our first breakfast as husband and wife - I got a text from Michael - who I assumed was on his way to the airport for an early flight.  All the text said was, "DID I JUST MAKE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE?"

I haven't responded yet.  What do I do?
