College sports fans can be a selfish group of people. When you leave our school and go pro, it's fine...as long as you're a senior. But when players leave early to test the waters, or to enter the draft. We think, they'll be back. They aren't ready yet. Iowa's Joe Wieskamp is once again testing the NBA waters. The senior to be has left the door open just a bit for a return to school. So where does Wiesy stand in the eyes of NBA experts?

As of now, it's a bit hard to get a real good feel for his draft status. Bleacher Report just put out their two round NBA Mock Draft. Wieskamp isn't mentioned. Iowa's Luka Garza lasts well into the second round. HoopsHype is another 2 round mock that doesn't mention Wieskamp at all. But at least one online source is high on Wieskamp, and that is Front Office Guru. In fact, they call him one of the most undervalued draft prospects in the year's NBA Draft!

Front Office Guru lays out the case for Wieskamp to be thought of as a top 35 player headed into the NBA Draft. They call him the perfect floor spacer for today's game. He can hit the three, he plays defense, he can rebound, and his athleticism has also greatly improved. All it takes is for one team to show interest.

The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that both Wieskamp and Garza got good news this week. Both players got official invites to the NBA Combine next week. The pre-draft event is held in Chicago. Wieskamp and Garza are among just five Big Ten players invited to the camp. 69 players total will show off their talents.

In another sign that Wieskamp may be done with college ball, he is no longer listed on the Iowa men's basketball official roster.
