Chocolate Walk This Friday in Downtown Marion

The City of Marion is the sweetest place to be this Friday night as shoppers are invited to spend an evening strolling in Uptown Marion to sample chocolate treats at the Chocolate Walk.

It's going on this Friday night, October 4 starting at 8:00 p.m.

Each of the 27 participating business will offer a complimentary chocolate treat while supplies last. For a complete list of Chocolate Walk participating merchants, please visit www.marioncc.org or call 319-377-6316.

The Marion Chamber is reminding everyone to enter and win one of two $100 gift certificates to participating Uptown Marion businesses by presenting a receipt at the welcome booth located at 7^th Avenue and 11^th Street. Attendees can also grab a event map.

Live entertainment will be featured throughout the district by local talent, Billy Heller, Elizabeth Kissling, and Kevin Moore.

The Chocolate Walk is sponsored by the Marion Chamber Platinum Community Partners – Farmers State Bank, Fosters Heating and Air Conditioning, ImOn Communications, MercyCare Community Physicians and Townsquare Media, and is produced by the Marion Chamber of Commerce and Uptown Marion – A Main Street Iowa District with support from the City of Marion.
