Cedar Rapids Wahlburgers Restaurant Ready to Open [PHOTOS]

The Market Grille restaurants inside Hy-Vee stores didn't end up being a big success, so Hy-Vee is trying again. I'm betting they'll find more success with their new tenant, Wahlburgers.

Hy-Vee announced this morning that the Edgewood Road Hy-Vee store in Cedar Rapids will open the city's first Wahlburgers restaurant tomorrow, on Tuesday, August 25. It's the fifth Wahlburgers to open at a Hy-Vee in the state of Iowa.

The menu at Wahlburgers, created by Chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers Mark and Donnie, as you might expect features seven different burgers, including a vegetarian 'The Impossible Burger.' WahlBowls are "all the fun without the bun." There are also home-style sides, salads, shakes, and a full-service bar. You can see the full Wahlburgers menu HERE.

The Edgewood Road Hy-Vee Wahlburgers will be a casual, counter-service restaurant that will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. Hy-Vee breakfast will still be available each day from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Hy-Vee expects to add 15 more Wahlburgers to their stores in Iowa before the end of this summer. The company also currently owns six full-service Wahlburgers.

I stopped by the Edgewood Road Hy-Vee Monday morning and they allowed me to take a look inside the new restaurant. I love the decor and even though it was empty, you can see this will be heaven for sports fans like me. You can see the photos below.
