Cedar Rapids Police Investigating Shooting This Morning

The Cedar Rapids Police Department responded to another report of shots fired this morning and found a man had been wounded. This time, the shooting occurred on the city's northeast side.

Cedar Rapids Police were called to the 1600 block of A Avenue Northeast at 8:50 this morning. An adult male was found to have a gunshot wound. He was conscious at the scene and was transported to a local hospital. No other information on his condition is available.
