Cedar Rapids Restaurant Reopens With a New Menu

An eatery near NewBo City Market has reopened after a brief closure! Crosby's has just debuted a brand new menu for customers.

Crosby's opened its doors at 1028 3rd St SE in Cedar Rapids back in late 2021. They had initially planned to open in 2020, but the pandemic delayed things quite a bit. On April 30th of 2024, the restaurant revealed on Facebook that they would be temporarily closed for "renovations and staff trainings." Luckily, that closure was only a week long!

Crosby's held their official grand reopening yesterday, May 7th. The interior of the restaurant looks the same, but there is a new food menu, as well as some new cocktails! Some of the new items that Crosby's added to the menu include:

• Montreal Smoked Beef Poutine
• Smoked Chicken Wings
• Gobi Manchurian
• Pear & Goat Cheese Salad
• Chicken Pot Pie
• Double Sided Vegetarian Ravioli
• Brown Butter Scallops
• Berkshire Pork Loin Cuban
• Prime Rib
• Bacon & Pickle Grilled Cheese
• Classic Smash Burger
• Arnold Palmer Chicken Sandwich
• Chocolate Lava Cake
• Maple Beignets

Crosby's also serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. As far as the brunch menu goes, some of the new additions are:

• Coffee Cured Lox Bagel
• Braised Beef Benedict
• PB&J French Toast
• Three Cheese Omelette
• Hot Honey & Chicken Waffles
