Brothers Harley & Murphy are Looking for Their Retirement Home
*Furry Friday is brought to you by Theisen's Home, Farm, Auto.
If you're looking for a couple of sweet, laid-back, small pups, these two might be the perfect addition to your family!
Meet Harley and Murphy, two elderly brothers that are on the hunt for a 'furever' home:
Harley is the black one, weighing in at 17 pounds, and Murphy is the black and white one, weighing only 7 pounds. The pair of Shih Tzus will be 13-years-old in December and have been together their entire lives! That, of course, means that they will have to be adopted together. You can't break-up this bonded pair!
Harley and Murphy are up for adoption at Dogs Forever in Cedar Rapids. Their bio says that "they are sweet little guys and just want to be snuggled," and that they get along with other dogs, cats, AND kids! That makes them extra special.
Because of COVID-19, Dogs Forever is not currently welcoming walk-ins like they usually do, but if you're interested in adopting Harley and Murphy, you can fill out an application online HERE. If they think you'll be a good fit, they'll contact you with more information.
This is the second week we've been able to do our new virtual edition of 'Furry Friday' with a local animal rescue, and we're just so happy that we could find a way to continue to help these dogs and cats adopted! You can check out last week's dog Petey from Safe Haven of Iowa County HERE.
