When hunting for records, it's often feast or famine. Many times I walk away with nothing. But then there are days like yesterday. I checked one of the stores that sell used vinyl and discovered many that I wanted, including  Michael Jackson's 'Off The Wall'. It's the first MJ album I've seen since I've been collecting. I picked up four albums in all yesterday and returned home last night excited as ever to hear my new treasures. My wife wasn't as thrilled.

Holly understands my love of vinyl. I've purchased albums with her in mind (hello Dirty Dancing Soundtrack!) So when I showed her my discoveries, she said "that's great...are you about done now?"  Done? With what? I told her unfortunately, she wasn't that lucky.

How can I be done collecting records when I still have to get more Beatles albums? I don't have any records yet by The Who and I only have one Led Zepplin record. How can I stop now? I've said it before that one of the best parts of record collecting is the hunt. It's finding nothing at a store for 2 weeks and then buying four in one day like I did yesterday. So sorry Holly...I'm not done. I'm just getting started!
