Boondocks at 130 E Main Street in Anamosa!

Boondocks originally began as a shop at 202 W Main Street in Anamosa, but has since transitioned into a shop AND restaurant at their new location. Actually, the restaurant is currently preparing to debut a brand new menu this Thursday (May 29th)! We don't know much about the menu yet, but we do know that it will include two new burgers. The first is called the Ranch Hand, and it's a smash burger topped with provolone cheese, fried ranch cheese curds, shredded lettuce, and a ranch drizzle. The second is the Boondocks House Burger, which is topped with American cheese, bacon, pickles, onion straws, and their house sauce. The photos are posted above! Other previous menu items include tenderloins, sandwiches, desserts, a variety of appetizers, and weekly specials.

We will be enjoying everything that Boondocks has to offer in the month of June, and you and your coworkers are welcome to join us! If selected, we will meet on a Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., you will be able to bring six additional people with you. All you have to do is get entered HERE! It's very rare that we get to do lunch outside of Linn County, so we hope to choose winners in Jones County this month!

A quick reminder: when you enter for Listener Lunch, please list a phone number that you are able to answer around 9 a.m. on Fridays. That's when we typically call our latest winner to verify that they're able to attend lunch the following week. If you don't answer the phone, we can't choose you. We hope to see you in June!
