Brain & Courtlin Head to the ‘River’ for April Listener Lunch

After five amazing lunches at Lucky's on 16th in Cedar Rapids, we're moving on to another restaurant for the month of April!

As hard as it is to say goodbye to all-day breakfast at Lucky's, we are excited to continue our 2022 trend of visiting restaurants that we've never been for Listener Lunch before. Every Tuesday in April, we will be traveling over to Palo to have lunch at Whiskey River Grill!

Whiskey River Grilled opened at 2882 Palo Marsh Rd in late 2019 and has been a success ever since. They are described on Facebook as a "chic, yet modern, restaurant offering a wide range of food and drink." The menu features a variety of delicious appetizers, like the house-made wontons and the hand-breaded mozzarella sticks, plus a wide selection of entrees. including burgers, salads, sandwiches/wraps, pasta, ribs, steak, and more. The restaurant also offers daily lunch specials, and on Tuesdays that's homemade lasagna with a side salad and garlic bread!

I've only been to Whiskey River Grill once, but Brain has been there several times. We both absolutely love what we've ordered (the house-made wontons were my favorite!), but we're so excited to try a whole lot more in the month of April!
