Iowans Share Their Best Ever Iowa Concert Experiences [GALLERY]

I know it's probably tough to choose, but do you have an Iowa concert that stands out above all the others?

I've had a ton of great concert experiences in Iowa over the past ten years, but there are a few favorites that I can think off the top of my head. One of them was when Garth Brooks played Des Moines in 2016. Not only did I get to go to the concert on my birthday, but I also got to sit and chat with both Garth AND Trisha Yearwood before the show! Garth put on such a high energy performance, I will never forget it.

Another Iowa concert experience I'll always remember is from the 2019 Great Jones County Fair. One of the shows that year was from Hootie & the Blowfish and the Barenaked Ladies. I don't know what it was about that particular concert, but we just had so much fun. The artists were great, the crowd was great, and I think there was a bit of 90s nostalgia in the mix, too. We had a blast!

A few of my other favorite concerts in Iowa include Dolly Parton, Kenny Chesney, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town, Zach Bryan, and Fall Out Boy.
