An Iowa City Restaurant Will Be Closing Its Doors
Say it ain't so! The Zombie Burger location on E Burlington St in Iowa City is officially shutting down in less than two weeks.
The announcement was made on Friday from the Zombie Burger + Shake Lab Iowa City Facebook page, with Saturday, February 3rd being the final day of service. What's the reasoning behind the shut down? The Gazette reports that Orchestrate President Paul Rottenberg said in a press release, "While we thought building a Zombie Burger in the epicenter of a college town would be a slam dunk, it became clear that our high-volume, family-driven brand wasn’t a fit for the setting.” The good news is that the Coral Ridge Mall location in Coralville will remain open for business!
