If you are a fan of Bloody Marys, you might want to plan a Sunday road trip to Eldridge, Iowa!

Located at 239 N 2nd Street in Eldridge is a restaurant called Maloney's Pub that serves some wild Bloody Marys. I'm normally not a huge fan of Bloody Marys, but it's hard to say no to one that looks like this:

This magnificent beverage is called the Insane Mary. The drink itself is a half gallon, but it's the bouquet of food on top that really puts it over the top. According to the Facebook post, it includes Cornish hen, a cheeseburger, bacon-wrapped cheese curds, a meat skewer, a veggie skewer, a cheese skewer, shrimp, a cinnamon roll, a pickle, and, of course, celery. The whole thing will cost you $39.99, but you can always split it with a friend, since you probably won't be able to consume everything yourself! There's also a smaller one called the Mobster Mary, if you're feeling less ambitious.

The Insane Mary is part of what's called "Bloody Mary Sunday," which occurs the last Sunday of every month. Maloney's says the Insane Mary is for "elite Bloody Mary connoisseurs." The monthly celebration also includes other specials, like bottomless Mimosas and half-price apps and domestic drafts.

Since the month of August has just begun, you're going to have to wait a few weeks to try the Insane Mary. It will be available again on Sunday, August 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can get more information on Maloney's Pub in Eldridge, Iowa HERE.
