A Third Taco Depot Location Has Opened in Cedar Rapids

We've got some great news for taco lovers over by Kirkwood Community College! Taco Depot III has officially opened for business!

Back in early 2019, the very first Taco Depot location opened at 2665 Edgewood Pkwy SW, which used to be the home of Silver Star Grill & Bar. The first restaurant saw so much success that, later that year, the owners decided to open up a second location on the southeast side of Cedar Rapids. The second location, located at 3801 1st Ave SE in the former Long John Silver's, officially opened in June of 2020.

Cut to March of 2021. An announcement on the Taco Depot Facebook page revealed that a THIRD location would be coming soon. It took over the old Hardee's building by Kirkwood at 35 Miller Ave SW. We have been patiently waiting for the third location's grand opening date since then, and yesterday we got great news. Taco Depot III is officially open for business!

Taco Depot is known for their enormous burritos and their margarita flights. I've been to both Taco Depot and Taco Depot II a whole bunch of times with my friends, and the food never disappoints. As far as margaritas go, my favorite flavors are strawberry, peach, and blue raspberry.
