It's that time of year again! Now that it's December, chances are you're going to hear at least one Christmas song every time you walk into a public place. The good news is that it's 2017 and there's a wide variety of original Christmas songs out there, so you don't have to listen to different versions of the same five songs over and over.

For all of you holiday music lovers out there: there is a new Christmas song that was just produced using science. A Boston Conservatory musicologist by the name of Joe Bennett believes he has created the "happiest" Christmas song EVER. It's called "Love's Not Just For Christmas," and he designed it after studying the lyrics, tempo, musical key and vocals of 200 popular Christmas songs.

According to the Daily Mail, "Love's Not Just for Christmas" features the word ‘Christmas’ 21 times, sleigh bells, a major key, an average tempo of 115 beats per minute, and lyrics referencing Santa, snow, home, peace, and love. The lyrics were actually written by Harriet Green and Steve Anderson, who have written songs for artists like Britney Spears, with the recording done by the London Community Gospel Choir.

Give the song a listen and let us know what you think:
