A Popular Iowa Restaurant is Opening a Location in Marion

Get ready for a new restaurant here in the Corridor!

According to a new article from the Corridor Business Journal, Barrel House Pub will be opening a location in the city of Marion. It will be located at 295 Tower Terrace Road between Alburnett Road and 10th Street, which is over near the new Marion YMCA.

Although Barrel House is new to the Corridor, it's not new to the state of Iowa. They currently have locations in both Uptown and Downtown Davenport, plus another one on Main Street in Dubuque. Their official website reads:

"Established in 2011, Barrel House is a warm, fun and inviting, 'taking care of people' concept. We have fantastic specials like, Barrel Basket Monday’s, Top-it-Off Tuesday, Wine-Down Wednesday and Seltzer Sunday! With our upscale tavern food, you’re sure to find something to love. Be sure to stop in today and see what everyone is talking about!"

The online menu has tons of different options, including burgers, sandwiches and wraps, nachos, quesadillas, tacos, spicy cheese curds, loaded mac & cheese, and whole bunch of different dipping sauces. Just take a look at some of these photos from their Instagram account!

The article from CBJ doesn't say when Barrel House Pub will be ready to open to the public, but a quote from founder Jimmy Holt says:

"I’m thrilled to bring our warm, fun and inviting 'taking care of people' concept to Marion. We look forward to getting to know our patrons and providing them with excellent food, including our award-winning gourmet burgers.”
