A New Restaurant Has Opened in Coralville

A cool new restaurant is officially open in Johnson County!

According to a recent article from the Cedar Rapids Gazette, Brick & Iron at 104 E. 7th Street in Coralville just opened for business on December 21st. Their Facebook page says that their main focus is "to provide the best food, best drinks, and best service to our guests!"

Brick & Iron's menu is pretty extensive, as they are open for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner. The breakfast menu includes items like country fried steak & eggs, dutch baby pancakes, omelettes, and skillets, but there are even more choices for lunch and dinner. They offer pasta, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts, but I'm most interested in the pizza! Two full pages of the online menu are dedicated to Neapolitan Style, New York Style, and Cast Iron pizzas. You can order specialty pizzas, like Chicken Alfredo, The Hammer, I-Beam, or Strutter, or just build your own. Here's an example of what a Cast Iron Pizza looks like:

Brick & Iron's Facebook page says that they are open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. You can check out their full menu under the menu tab HERE.

2020 was a tough year for local businesses, so we're happy to report a restaurant OPENING instead of a restaurant closing. If you live or work in the Coralville area and you're able to give Brick & Iron a try, I'm sure they would greatly appreciate your support!
