98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Salutes Brad Jahlas

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an eastern Iowa First Responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford.

Today, we honor Brad Jahlas! Here's what the entry says:

"My dad has been a volunteer firefighter for Victor, Iowa for about 25 years or so. Whether it is on the interstate, middle of a field, home, vehicle, farm equipment, he has seen a LOT in his time. He has even started driving for the Quick Responders in town. My son looks up to him and now wants to be a firefighter when he grows up. Brad isn't just a dad, husband, grandpa, etc., he is a HERO!"
