What Do You Choose: Cold Temps Or Lots Of Snow?

There is a sad game that Courtlin and I have been playing the past few days.  The "How Cold Is It" game.  How cold is it when we arrive at work in the morning.  Its a game you can play too!  This morning when I got to work, it was -9 with a wind chill of -30.  Ouch.  Like everyone else, I too hate this bitter cold weather.  I fare pretty well in the winter months.  Perhaps its my layers of "insulation" I have.  But no matter how fond you are of cold weather, these temperatures and wind chills are unbearable.  So that brings up the following question.  If you had to choose between bitterly cold temps, OR a huge snow storm, which one would you choose?  I used to think the answer was easy.  Give me snow and moderate temperatures every time!  Until I saw pictures like THIS!

I like some snow in the winter.  But not what cities like Buffalo, Boston and New York have seen this winter.  Some areas have seen 3 feet or more of snow in a single storm!  Boston got hit with it's 3rd winter storm in just over a week!  Where do they put it all?  I can't imagine having to constantly dig yourself out storm after storm.  So, give me bone chilling temperatures.  I'll bundle up.  Just keep the snow away!  I'll happily stare at my brown grass until spring arrives.
