Titanic Exhibit Coming To Eastern Iowa Museum

Titanic is coming to Dubuque.  The National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium will host "Titanic:  The Artifact Exhibition" beginning May 23rd, 2015.  It will run through September 7th.

The 1997 movie Titanic was a phenomenon, and intrest in everything Titanic skyrocketed.  I got caught up in it myself.  I read every book there was on the history of the ship and it's ill fated journey.  Numerous touring exhibits began touring around the country, and finally one is going to be in eastern Iowa.

The exhibit in Dubuque will take up the entire second floor of the museum, and will feature artifacts from the ship, and show the disparity between first and third class travelers on board.  Count me among those who can't wait to set sail.
