I would say that my wife and I are pretty laid back people.  We go to work, enjoy our home life, try to go on vacation a couple times a year, watch sports, movies, and we have our favorite tv shows we "can't miss."  Don't get me wrong, we live a busy life.  It seems like we're always running here and there and our calendar fills up quickly - especially from April through October.  I would've NEVER thought we were dealing with as much stress as we apparently are.  Then I saw the list of the "most stressful jobs in America" list this weekend from Yahoo Financial.

Of course, the top of the list is covered by the jobs one would think as "stressful."  Police officers, mental health counselors, and those in education are the top three.  Then came #4 - a stunner - "Broadcast News Analyst."  WHAT??  I had to read it twice.  Just above nurses...was my gig in broadcasting.  Now I know that I don't analyze news for CNN or MSNBC or any of the "big boys" in the industry.  But I consider what I do to be analytical - both when it comes to hard national news, local news, entertainment news, and other stories we bring to the listeners each and every day.  Wow.  I had no idea I was under such stress.

The #6 most stressful job....Phlebotomy Technician....my wife's job!

Perhaps we need a couple MORE vacations during the year!

What job do YOU think is the most stressful??
