Rose Bowl Ticket Update From The University Of Iowa

Today is the deadline for getting your Rose Bowl tickets through the University of Iowa. Last week when it was announced Iowa was heading to the Rose Bowl, I decided what the heck, I'm going to put my name in for two tickets. I've been an Iowa Football season ticket holder since 2010 and my priority points are at 27. I figured I probably wouldn't have a chance to buy tickets but tried anyway. When it announced that 54,000 ticket request came in for the 22,000 tickets the University was alloted, I really thought that I wouldn't even be close.

Well, I found out today that I did not make the cut. It was a lot closer than I thought. The cutoff was 31 priority points. Had I ordered Season Tickets 1 year earlier, I would have made the cutoff. Oh well, I'll just wait until the next time they go to the Rose Bowl... that shouldn't be that long of a wait!!!
