The View Sunday’s Rainstorm From Scott’s Back Deck

It rained Sunday....it rained A LOT. We're hearing reports of anywhere from 2" to 5" in the Cedar Rapids area over an 8 hour time span.  So much for that drought.  As the rain continued to pound down, I started watching our backyard.  It was taking on water, which isn't unusual.  But the amount was (see picture).

As I drove into work this morning in what seemed to be a snow storm of sorts, I wasn't mad.  I was relieved.  :At least it's not rain."  Talk about perspective.
