New Study Says Baby Talk is Good For Your Child

Do you "baby talk" to your kids?  I didn't to my three kids when they were babies.  I never really liked the sound of it.  Sure, adults sound silly when they baby talk, but according to a new study from the University of Iowa, baby talk is actually a good thing!

The study found that even though baby talk may sound like gibberish to adults, it helps babies start to identify sounds that help them to learn to speak!  The study says that parents communicating with their infants in ANY way is vital to their development.

So if you get strange looks while "baby talking", don't worry.  Your child appreciates it!
