Shueyville, Iowa native Hailey Whitters has once again proven that she will never forget her roots! The Nashville singer/songwriter has released the music video for her song "Heartland," and it features a whole lot of Iowa. The post reads:

"The "Heartland" video is finally here! Even though I'm hours away from the Heartland, where I was born and raised, I'm still so connected to it. This video was shot back in Iowa where I grew up. I hope it makes you feel like you're coming home to experience it with me firsthand."

Hailey's music video showcases two locations in particular. Once of them is DanceMor Ballroom in Swisher. Back in late September, Hailey played a concert there to a HUGE crowd. We were lucky enough to attend the show and witness Hailey in all her hometown glory. Much of the music video was shot during that concert.

Another place that's prominently featured is Smitty's Tenderloin Shop in Des Moines. Hailey shared some behind-the-scenes photos of her stop there with the caption:

"This is one of my favorite spots in all of Iowa to get a pork tenderloin, so when Harper Smith asked me where I wanted to visit on this shoot, Smitty's Tenderloin Shop was at the top of my list."

Hailey has had a hugely successful 2019. She played the legendary Grand Ole Opry TWICE, released part one of her album The Days, was announced as a performer at the 2020 Stagecoach Music Festival, opened up shows for Maren Morris and Little Big Town, was selected to be part of the CMT Next Women of Country 2020 class, had countless mentions in articles from big publications like Rolling Stone, and joined Jordan Davis' Trouble Town Tour, which kicks off in January. We wish her even more success in the coming year, and we can't wait to watch her continue to make Iowa proud!
