The annual event at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines features more than 5,000 of America's finest classics, customs, hot rods, muscle cars, and trucks on display, all of them 1998 or older. It's a must-attend for anyone who loves classic vehicles.

There's much more happening than just a car show. There's a big swap meet, a vendor midway, live music, free kids zone, and even a Cars 4 Sale Corral. You can see a burnout competition, Nitro Thunderfest vintage dragster exhibition, and on Saturday it's the "Duel in Des Moines"... an AutoCross Shootout competition.

Saturday evening, July 1, there's a twilight cruise down Grand Avenue and a fireworks display.

Sunday, you can even bring out your American-made or powered late models of any year for the Goodguys Heartland Nationals All-American Sunday celebration.

The three-day event is held from June 30 through July 2. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 30; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 1; 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 2.
