98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Noah Arthur

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Noah Arthur, who was nominated by Christy Arthur! The entry reads:

"Noah Arthur is a first responder with the 3rd District Fire Department located out of Central City, Iowa. Noah joined the Central City Fire Department shortly after his 14th birthday as an Explorer. He endured many ups and downs with the department over the years, as the CC Fire Department disbanded and became the 3rd District Fire Department. He is committed to doing what he loves by following his passion to help people.

Noah took the EMT program in high school through Kirkwood Academy in Monticello. He is a humble person and does what he does without having to receive praise from anyone. Saving lives and being a beacon in his community is his personal satisfaction. Through his hard work and dedication to his community and brotherhood to his fire department family, Noah is now a Lieutenant on the 3rd District Fire Department."
