With Labor Day behind us, it's time to look forward to fall. That also means it's time to bid farewell to the fruity, summery beer flavors that so many of us enjoy during the warmer months. Fall brings cooler weather, sweatshirts, football and, for many of us, different varieties of beer. You can sample some at Corridor on Tap on November 21st at the DoubleTree by Hilton Convention Complex in Cedar Rapids. What can you expect this fall?

Let's get this out of the way. Pumpkin spice season is upon us and that is definitely one of the themes for beer this fall. Dogfish Head Brewery in Delaware puts out their Punkin Ale to satisfy your pumpkin cravings. It's a brown ale, and one of many with a pumpkin theme you'll find in stores this fall.

What would fall be without OctoberFest beer? It's debatable whether it's a flavor or just a style of beer, but one of the most popular is Samuel Adam's OctoberFestIt's fairly mild with little bitterness and is one of my personal favorites for this time of year.

If you really want to try something unique, how about beer with some maple syrup mixed in? Long Trail Brewing in Vermont brings you their Harvest Ale. It has real maple syrup added and features a rich nutty aroma. This beer is made for fall! Get out and enjoy some new flavors as the weather gets colder. With so many to choose from, you can't go wrong!
