Take a step back in time to re-live the tragic events of the Civil War,1861-1865. Visitors can stroll through the camps of both armies and see how soldier life was like for the troops. Learn what it was like to be a Iowa farm boy sent off to war and what life was like for the wives and mothers as they read letters from home. You may also meet Mr. Lincoln as he visits the war front. On Saturday Come see a game of Rounders (old time base ball) , Marion's own Liberty Band, and for kids enlist in the Army and learn 1st hand how to be a soldier. There will be a battle each day.
