Additional Information

the Coggon Area Betterment Association, Community Savings Bank, Stone Hollow Dog Training, the Linn Newsletter, and Theisens are sponsoring a Pet Expo from 9 – 1 at the Coggon Center, where you can bring your pet to get micro-chipped by the Iowa Humane Alliance for a fee, meet McGruff, the crime dog, and Simon, a service dog in training. In addition to exhibits by Macbride Raptor Project, merchandisers, animal organizations, and pet foundations, obedience demonstrations from Stone Hollow Dog Training and an apprehension demonstration by the Linn County K-9 unit are scheduled. This event is open to the public and leashed pets, and a portion of the $5 admission fee will be donated to the Linn County K-9 unit and the Puppy Jake Foundation, a service dog provider for veterans.
