The Gazette has announced details for the final Iowa Ideas symposium sessions scheduled for Tuesday June 6 at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center. These community conversations are free to attend, but registration is required at www.iowaideas.com

Iowa Ideas is a statewide initiative offering symposiums, printed magazines, digital updates and a multiday September conference surrounding issues that continue to impact the economics and people of Iowa. Connecting various parts of the state together to understand perspectives, build on ideas and offer opportunities to interact is the focus of this initiative led by The Gazette. Stories and summaries of experiences around the state to date can be found online at www.iowaideas.com

The Cedar Rapids symposium sessions will include morning into afternoon speakers and workshops that will address the issues of Energy & Environment and Health Care. Attendees are able to register for any sessions of interest. Participants of the symposium series will be encouraged to review current research and case studies, hear from topical experts, and build on ideas. The results of this day will be documented along with other community discussions and interactions, leading up to a multiday September conference.
