It's just not Christmas in Cedar Rapids until it's time for the Fire and Ice Festival. Stop by the downtown library and meet Santa (from 3:30p to 5:30p). While you're there, don't miss the "Whoville Holiday" celebration, complete with face painting, balloon animals, crafts, and performances of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" every 30 minutes in the Whipple Auditorium. Head outside for carriage rides through downtown, fire performers, and the "Not So Silent Night" Caroling Competition, and of course, the Holiday DeLight Parade at 6p.
