Join KDAT for an unforgettable Daddy/Daughter Afternoon Event. It’s the 14th Annual “Butterfly Kisses” Father-Daughter Dance presented by the Junior League of Cedar Rapids.
Girls and their guys can shop at the Butterfly Boutique, a market featuring fun gifts for both girls and their hosts, gift certificates and more. Other fun features will include cupcake decorating, face painting, silent auction with American Girl doll items and more, a professional photographer, and of course plenty of dancing. There is also a light lunch. And, as it's a Cinderella theme, the girls will love the appearance and performance from Cinderella.
Don’t miss the fun and memories, while helping support Junior League’s “Bridging the G.A.P.” project, which focuses on the approximately 350 foster teens in our community. JLCR’s efforts include support of bi-monthly meetings with foster youth (providing meals and teaching life skills), education about the foster care system, advocacy efforts for those in the foster care system, and the donation of an “apartment in a suitcase,” items young adults need to enter independent living, to every teen who ages out of foster care.
Tickets are $75 per Father-Daughter couple, and just $15 for each additional daughter. The price will increase at the door.
