The 3K NAMIWalks event, presented by NAMI Affiliate Johnson County and sponsored by Alkermes, promotes awareness of mental illness treatment and recovery in our community. Garrett Hartwig, West High Head Football Coach and Dan Sabers, City High Head Football Coach, will serve as Honorary Chairs to kick off the event. Pre-walk activities start at 8:45 AM with registration, local band, coffee and baked goods, children’s activities, and local resource fair. The walk starts at 10:00 AM. All funds raised support NAMI Johnson and Linn counties.
