Eric Paslay, who headlines the KHAK-Thomas Dostal Developers Freedom Festival Concert on the 4th of July has signed a new agreement that covers one of his talents on a worldwide basis.

Eric, who's a tremendous songwriter in addition to his flourishing solo career, signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Warner/Chappell Music. The deal covers his future songwriting efforts and if the past is any indication, a beautiful partnership is beginning. Paslay wrote the ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) 2012 Country Song of the Year (Barefoot Blue Jean Night, sung by Jake Owen). He was also nominated for CMA Song of the Year in 2012 for the Eli Young Band hit, "Even If It Breaks Your Heart." The song also garnered Eric a Grammy nomination in 2013 for Best Country Song.

The Executive Vice President of Warner/Chappell Music Nashville, Ben Vaughn, commented on the matter saying, "Eric Paslay sings and writes take-your-breath-away songs. When Paslay's voice comes on the radio, you immediately know you're getting ready to hear a song sung with emotion that was crafted by a true artisan."

We're thrilled to have Eric perform for you in Cedar Rapids this 4th of July. You can learn more about the show and all the other performers who will be here and order tickets below.
