Eastern Iowans Donate Amazing Amount of Money for Kids [PHOTOS]

You never cease to amaze us. For 26 years we've asked you to open your hearts and your pocketbooks on behalf of Iowa kids. Every year, you answer the call in an incredible way.

The past two days, Brain and Courtlin broadcast live from the Levitt Center in Iowa City. Over the course of 16 hours on Thursday and Friday, we asked for your help.

You heard children and families talk about treatments at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. Sometimes the stories were difficult to hear, while other times the joy shone through the radio just as bright as the sun in the sky the last two days. *You can see photos from Brain and Courtlin and the kids below.

In year 26, you helped donate a total of $152,524. Over the 26 years we've held the Radiothon, eastern Iowans like you have given a mind-blowing $3,546,322 to the kids and families through the Children's Miracle Network at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.

Our television partner, KCRG TV-9, joined us at the Radiothon to help kick off the event on Thursday. We so appreciate them providing additional exposure for the event.
