Dolly Parton Coming to Cedar Rapids! [VIDEO]

The music and entertainment icon will perform in Cedar Rapids this summer.

We've hardly been able to contain our excitement on this one. Who are we kidding? We honestly couldn't. When we got the news late last week, days before we could release the information to you, we were already having fun preparing for a visit from one of the greatest entertainers in history... and one of the most impersonated:

Thanks to Balloons Etc. and The Costume Emporium in Cedar Rapids for providing our attire! There's certainly no impersonating Dolly when it comes to the stage, and we promise we won't even try.

Dolly, a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1969 and the Country Music Hall of Fame since 1999, is bringing her "Pure and Simple Tour" to the U.S. Cellular Center this summer with tickets going on sale in just a few days.
