Courtlin's Resolution Movie Review

Last week I watched another movie from my New Year's Resolution Movie List, and I decided to go with a Quentin Tarantino film. For week 20 my pick was: Kill Bill (2003).

Hands down, this is one of my favorite movies ever. I'm in LOVE with it! I wasn't a huge Uma Thurman fan until I watched this, but now I'm totally obsessed with her. I love everything about her character. I actually really enjoy all the female characters. They are all tough and powerful and kick so much butt! I think I may have found my Halloween costume this year...

I'm also a really big fan of the visuals in this movie. The vibrant colors and the way the shots are set up are just phenomenal. The scene where Uma battles Lucy Liu in the snow was so beautiful. They even make the blood look pretty, which I realize is kind of a weird thing to say. All the fight scenes are just incredible.

Overall, I think Kill Bill is the perfect amount of weird. I like the set-up for a second movie at the end, and I will definitely be watching the second one ASAP!
