Yesterday I raided the 'favorites' section of the movie store for movies from my list, and I ended up with another Kevin Spacey classic!

I'm going to start off by telling you that this movie was, unfortunately, spoiled for me by another movie I watched this weekend. I went into it knowing exactly who Keyser Söze was. Other than that, I had no idea what the movie was going to be about at all, but ONCE AGAIN, Kevin Spacey stole the show. He is just amazing at playing the crazy/creepy bad guy. He was born for roles like this one. Even knowing who he actually was beforehand, I still doubted myself while watching the movie.

The movie started out a bit slow for me. The beginning of Kevin Spacey's story bored me a little bit, and I was trying to figure out where exactly the movie was going. That didn't last very long, though, because once Keyser Söze's name was brought into the story I was hooked. The weird part is, I was rooting for Kevin Spacey even though I KNEW he was evil. As soon as the cop started piecing all of the info together (which was a brilliant scene, by the way), I was hoping that he would get away in time. I don't know if that means I'm a messed up person, or if it just means that Kevin is THAT good of an actor. Or maybe it's because I have a really screwed up crush on him...

The other thing I really enjoyed about this flick was it had some really good quotes. Here are a few of my favorites:

"A man can convince anyone he's somebody else, but never himself."

"The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."

"Keaton always said, 'I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him.' Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Keyser Söze."

This week I'll be watching "Requiem for a Dream." If you have any other good movie suggestions for me, I still need 5 more, so feel free to leave them in the comments!
