For this week's "Cooking with Bobby" segment, I'm featuring green bean casserole. Once again, I'm not a cook although I'm having fun trying and succeeding at this. With Christmas coming up, this is something easy to make and bring to your family get together. From the Hansen family recipe book.

Ingredients needed:
2 cans of your favorite green beans
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (or whatever your favorite flavor of cheese is)
1 small can of french fried onions

First off, preheat your oven to 350°. While the oven is heating up, open cans of beans and drain the liquid. Add the cans of beans and the can of cream of mushroom soup to medium size pan and cook on medium to medium high heat on stove top. Stir occasionally. Usually takes 5-10 minutes. After the cream of mushroom starts to bubble, add in half of the shredded cheese to the bean/mushroom mixture and stir in for about 3 minutes.

Once this is done on the stove top, place bean/mushroom/cheese mixture in a glass covered corningware dish. Now put the other half of the shredded cheese on top of the beans and then cover the top of the beans with the french fried onions. Cover and bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts and the the french fried onions start to brown.

Trust me, if I can make this... you can make this!
