Cedar Rapids Jaycees Offer 2019 Scholarship Program

"Uptown Friday Nights", the summer concert series in Cedar Rapids is one of many events supported and sponsored by the Cedar Rapids Jaycees every year. We are proud to partner with them on this event, and they have announced another annual program is now underway.

The Cedar Rapids Jaycees have opened their 2019 Scholarship Program. If you're a current high school student, college student, or non-traditional or continuing education student, you can apply for one of two $1,000 scholarships to be awarded by the Jaycees.

Applications must be submitted by April 1st and recipients will be announced May 1st. You can go online and fill out the application here or mail it to Janessa Weightman at 225 5th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.

The Jaycees are a group of volunteer young professionals, age 21-40 dedicated to developing future leaders through leadership training programs and events like "Uptown".
