There's another new eatery open in Cedar Rapids! Just a few short days ago, Delia's Baked Goods began welcoming customers over at 999 2nd St SE.

According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, Delia's opened its doors at 999 2nd St SE back on November 1st. The cafe is located inside the old Czech School Deli building and is owned by pastry chef Kaylee Pline.

Delia's Baked Goods is open daily and offers coffee, baked goods, breakfast, and lunch items. For breakfast, customers can build their own sandwich or bowl with different meat, cheese, sauce, and veggie options, or enjoy a fresh slice of coffee cake topped with caramel, apple, or strawberries. Lunch items include sandwiches, avocado or goat toast, and quinoa bowls. And there's the beverage menu, which offers coffee, cold brew, lattes, smoothies, and more.

As far as baked goods go, customers can choose from different pastries and cookies, like the Chai Macarons.

For right now, Delia's Baked Goods is open most days from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., but the Gazette reports that they eventually plan to stay open until 4 p.m. You can read more about the new cafe and get the latest updates on their official Facebook page HERE.

Delia's Baked Goods is just one of several new eateries that have opened in the Corridor these past few weeks. Mezcal Tequila Cocina held their first soft opening last night, CAMP in Iowa City opened in mid-October, and Crab House Seafood Boil & Bar also opened last month.
