A 4th Of July That Didn’t Go As Planned. But It’s All How You Look At It.

So things didn't go exactly as planned on Friday night with the 4th of July celebration.Most of you know what I am talking about - I was stood up by Britney Spears.  When I made the video a couple of weeks ago, I knew it was a long shot, but I had to do it.  It was the best chance I'd probably ever have to meet her.  I even offered to take her out for a hot dog!  If you haven't seen that video - click HERE.

After arriving at the "Boots On The River" celebration on Friday night and being told that Britney would NOT be making an appearance, I actually relaxed and had a great time with my wife and parents.  Was I bummed?  Maybe a little.  But hey...the important thing is that the weather was outstanding and despite what anyone says, we were able to sit back, relax, and celebrate living in a country where we are protected by men and women every single day and we thank them for that.  #Perspective
