98.1 KHAK’s Annual Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon Continues [PHOTOS]

The 26th Annual KHAK Radiothon for the Children's Miracle Network is underway, sponsored by U.S. Cellular, and brought to you in part by Van Meter!

We do a ton of different events throughout the year but for the K-Hawk crew and Iowa families, nothing is more important than our annual KHAK Radiothon for the Children's Miracle Network.

Brain and Courtlin are broadcasting live from Iowa City to raise money for kids and families at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital today and Friday (August 17-18) from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

During the two-day event, which began back in 1997, you'll hear stories from local families and be able to donate to help impact even more families in the area. Over the past 25 years, you have donated almost $3.4 million for CMN and local families right here in Iowa during the KHAK Radiothon.

Brain and Courtlin will talk with kids and their families that have been treated at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. You'll hear touching stories that, unfortunately, are sometimes heartbreaking. You'll also learn about the top-notch care that the hospital provides during the course of two days. During the Radiothon, you can call in your donations or donate via the KHAK app, or by text. It's an amazing cause and helps save children's lives. Here's how you can donate:
