98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Salutes Charity Hansel

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an eastern Iowa First Responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Charity Hansel, who was nominated by Brittany Horn! The entry reads:

"Charity works with the Cedar Rapids Police Department and responds to mental health crises. Charity is always going above and beyond to help the individuals she works with, and also partners with any agency she can to help get the individuals the help they need. Her help and partnerships are greatly appreciated!"
