98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Randy Darrow

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Randy Darrow, who was nominated by his wife Stacy! The entry reads:

"My husband Randy has served on the Greeley Fire Department for 29 years. He is also an EMS First Responder for Greeley. He proudly serves and volunteers, as Greeley is a volunteer department. Many calls have been answered in the middle of the night, during our kids activities when they were younger, while waiting in the line at the store, or at family functions, and he leaves without a second thought. We are proud to call our fire department our family.

This picture is of our daughter when she was little and our grandson (her son) about 25 years apart."
