98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Koree Miller

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Koree Miller, who was nominated anonymously! The entry reads:

"Koree became a licensed paramedic in May of 2022 and has wanted to be a paramedic since childhood. She took Kirkwood classes and graduated early so she could start her career as soon as possible. She has been working in Maquoketa since June of 2022 and has worked 70-90 hours weekly. She stays with a family friend in order to pick up extra shifts and fill in when she can. She has been noted as a 'natural' from doctors who says she's one of the best!"
