There's nothing like creating some messy art with your friends!

If you're looking for a fun and unique date or group activity, you may want to consider checking out the Splatter Room™ in Cedar Rapids! What's a splatter room, you ask? I think the concept is best explained by photos:

According to the Pinspiration website, the Splatter Room, which was inspired by artist Jackson Pollock, is a room where you "suit up in protective gear and fling paint at a canvas to create a unique masterpiece." It's messy, but it looks like a great time!

If you want to give Pinspiration's Splatter Room a try, there are a few things you need to know. First of all, the business will supply all the protective gear, like robes and goggles, but it's still recommended that you wear clothing you don't really care about, just in case some paint ends up in the wrong place. Also, if you plan to take your canvas home after your visit, it won't be dry for around 24-hours, so plan accordingly.

The Splatter Room at Pinspiration can accommodate up to 10 guests at a time. The cost is $25 per person, and all children under the age of five will require a paying adult to participate. You can book a room with your friends, your kids, or a date! It's fun for all ages and group sizes. There's even a Glow Splatter option!

Pinspiration is located inside Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. You can book your Splatter Room experience online HERE.
