Would You Give Up Your Phone For A Year For $100,000?

Most of us can admit that we spend too much time on our phones. Perhaps your New Year's resolution is to put it down more. Well, how about going an entire year without out? Ok, too much. But what if someone paid you $100,000?

Vitaminwater has announced a new contest where they will pay someone $100,000 to give up their cell phone for the entirety of 2019. That's right. No phone for a year! If you are chosen for the contest you can't use your phone or iPad, a friend's phone or iPad for all of 2019. You'll be given a lie detector test at the end of the year to prove you didn't cheat! If you pass, you get the $100,000. If you can only make it 6 months you still get $10,000.

So what if you have an emergency? Or need to make a call for work? Vitaminwater says they'll be giving the contestant a "1996-era cell phone" that you can use to make calls. Entries are due by January 8th!
